The legend of the Luminara Nexus dates back thousands of years - so old that few live who can remember what it was like before. The Luminara then was very different from the one that exists today, with not a drop of magic in the air. Humans ruled the lands, building society and civilizations that grew and flourished. Their lives were forever changed when the great Nexus opened. From a cosmic anomaly, a tear began to open in the universe, opening a gateway. Through this gate, each realm was connected to Luminara, like the heart of the infinite universe. Acting as a central realm, Luminara was quickly flooded with magical energy of all varieties, as various beings began to emigrate to its lustrous shores.
The Nexus has thrived for millennia, and continues to hold Luminara as the heart of the realms.
Luminara is the fictional realm, created by Konekochu, where Yue has recently moved.
It is a realm where magical beings of all kinds, as well as humans, come together and share in life’s joys and mysteries. We celebrate each others’ wins. We support each others’ difficulties.
Together, we help build a kind of magic that the world needs - friendship, collaboration, and community.

Yue Selene is a young Stellar Elf, who, after a revolution in her home village, moved her Observatory to the magical realm of Luminara. From the Observatory, Yue is able to see into the multiverse, seeing and experiencing stories from across the worlds. She invites friends to experience these stories together, unlocking mystery and intrigue wherever they go.

Yue can resonate with the emotional and spiritual echoes across the multiverse - past, present, and potential. This resonance lets her momentarily amplify someone else's best qualities or soothe their worst burdens - essentially emotional alchemy. She takes in someone's internal chaos or brilliance and reflects it back as starlight energy, which can heal, awaken, or inspire transformation in others.

Yue can resonate with someone to see who they could be across the infinite timelines. She uses this awareness to encourage someone by reflecting their highest potential to them, warn others by revealing what they might become if they continue down a harmful path. ​

Once she deeply resonates with someone, Yue can bind a star in her inner sky to them, forming a constellation of their soul that pulses with their emotional energy. She uses this to draw strength or courage from her "constellation of connections" in moments of doubt and experience dreams or visions tied to them when they are in crisis. ​​

Her signature artifact - The Glass of Many Reflections - is an enhanced looking glass that allows her to peer into the multiverse and see stories among the stars. Every story that has ever been told can be seen and experienced. It's through this that she brings along friends to play through various stories, uncovering the secrets that they hold. ​​

Because she feels so much, the deeper risk of her power is compassion fatigue or soul-fragmentation. The more connections she makes, the harder it becomes for her soul to hold its own shape. Occasionally, she must retreat into the healing starlight to weave herself back together.
