✯ STARS OF INSPIRATION ✯
Unfortunately, like many people, cancer has touched my life in many ways. As a disease that can affect so many different things, I have known dozens of friends and family who have battled against cancer, with some sadly not surviving. Each of the streams for Stand Up To Cancer is dedicated to a different person in my life who I have seen go through this. After the stream I will update this page to talk a little bit about them. ​​
DEBUT - April 26th, 2025 & May 24th, 2025
Dedicated to Poppa Moon (My Dad) My father has battled Chondrosarcoma (bone cancer) two times; once in 2020, and after it returned in 2023. His cancer is a result of a rare complication of a genetic bone disorder that we share. ​
UPDATE: Unfortunately, on May 12th, 2025, we got the news that it is back. The Council of Oncologists of Ontario (this is apparently a thing) convened and have ruled that a spot that was a concern on his MRI is indeed, cancer. We are back in the planning for another surgery phase of life, though he has considerably more fears now.
Because of this news, I am going to continue to dedicate streams to him, as he goes through his treatment again.
